Stir Occasionally To Keep From Scorching, Simmer For 50 Minutes, Or Until Peas Are Done. Salt And Pepper To Taste.Cooking Variations:Peas Do Not Require Soaking Before Cooking. Add A Pinch Of Thyme Right Before Serving. Add One Cup Of Cream Or Milk For A Creamier Flavor And Texture. Top With Sour Cream And Chives. Can Also Add Kielbasa, Ground Turkey Or Beef.
